ABOUT ME
I am an avid reader and lover of adventures. If you don't see me with my nose in a book, I am probably off doing something random with my friends or planning some great trip to somewhere I've never been. I dream of going to beautiful places and seeing what they have to offer me, and what I can offer them. I love listening to music and letting it transport me somewhere far away. I love spending time with family and friends. And I love being outside and appreciating God's creations.
I have grown up reading books and have always loved imersing myself into the stories. My passion for literature has driven my career choice in wanting to become a high school English teacher. My mom would read me stories at night before bed and often I would make her stay up late and finish to the end. I get so wrapped up in the stories that I can't think about much else till I know how it ends. You would be hard pressed to find me without a book handy.
WHAT I'VE DONE
Currently I attend Brigham Young University - Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. I am getting a Bachelor's of Art degree in English Education. My end goal is to become a high school English teacher and to be able to prepare my students to experience the real world through the literatrure we read and discuss during our class. I love learning different ways of presenting and teaching the literature in the classes I am currently attending. I hope I can live up to my epectations and the ones of the mentors I look up to.
